When Muster 2020 had to go virtual, we truly believed we’d still gather later in the year. However, the pandemic had other plans for us. It’s been a rough year, and it means more than usual to announce that we will be gathering for in-person Muster on April 21, 2021.

Ben Clark ’01 has graciously offered to host our event at his home in his outdoor pavilion. We will have a meal of smoked pulled pork, program, and roll call. Precautions will be in place, but we feel confident and comfortable planning this gathering.

Ticket options:

    • Muster Only Individual: $15
    • Muster Only Couple (this includes two tickets): $25
    • Muster + Dues Individual: $45
    • Muster + Dues Couple (this includes two tickets): $85
    • Children under 12: $8

(Dues are $35 Individual, $70 Couple… and dues payment gets $5 off Muster Tickets.)

Ticket Sales will cut off April 10th to ensure we have time to order and prepare the proper amount of food. You will be contacted with specific parking instructions at Ben’s house between then at April 21st.

Virtual Muster Tomorrow

The Middle Tennessee A&M Club is hosting a VIRTUAL AGGIE MUSTER on April 21st. A zoom meeting room has been set up to open at 6:00 pm, and we will start the roll at 6:30 pm.

How to join:

You will need the link and password to enter the meeting. To get that information, please sign up using Eventbrite. As you may know, Zoom meeting rooms are a limited number of users at a time, so make sure and grab your “ticket” fast!

I will email you directly a link and password to the meeting room as soon as I can afterwards. Please be patient with me on that. I’m still working, and so links may not get to you until late in the evening.

As I previously said, the meeting room will open at 6:00 pm. It will close at 7:30 pm. We encourage everyone to jump in early and start to visit. At 6:30 pm we will begin the roll call. We’d love to see everyone have a candle to light at your discretion during the roll as well!

Aggie Muster POSTPONED

Howdy Ags!

It’s with heavy heart that I announce the decision to postpone our 2020 Aggie Muster.

We were hoping to wait a little longer to make this decision, but it’s become clear we have no choice but to make this decision now. We will be refunding everyone’s money who has purchased tickets, and as soon as we can nail down a date for this year’s gathering we will be in touch with that information.

Please understand, our Muster gathering WILL happen. It’ll just be held later this year.

There will be a roll call of all the names streamed online from the Association of Former Students on April 21st.

From the Association: “Since 2018, The Association of Former Students has organized a live reading each April of the entire year’s roll, more than 1,600 names broadcast and livestreamed from the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center. Plans are in motion to ensure that the live Worldwide Roll Call takes place again this year, so we assure you that every name will be called on campus again this year.”

Information on how to tune in to the Worldwide Roll Call will be released closer to the date.

If anyone is wishing to hold small gatherings privately on April 21st, we’d love to hear about it. Or if there is interest in some sort of virtual gathering, we’d be happy to facilitate that. Aggie Muster is so important to the Aggie Spirit, and we will not let this virus stop us from this tradition.
